Adora expanded her understanding of the magnificence and divinity of personal self-expression with her then growing interest in Divine Dance. She began practicing Sufi Dance and Dances of Universal Peace in the late '70s continuing to the present, and in 1990 delved into religious studies and dance at Cabrillo College. Her interest in Divine Dance led her to teach her own classes in 'Ecstatic Dance – Dance Your Prayers' in Santa Cruz from 2003 to 2005, and to participate in performances of 'The Twenty-One Praises of Tara' under the guidance of Prema Dasara in 2006.

Her interest in healing and spiritual practices inspired Adora to receive Reiki Master certification in the Usui Reiki system of natural healing from Jeanine Sande in 2001. In 2002, she began her study and practice of Hawaiian Temple Bodywork Lomilomi – Ke Ala Hoku, with ‘Iolani Grace Emmanuel which is based on the shamanic healing practices of the ancient Hawaiian Kahuna.

Adora began her own healing practice in Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz in 2002, initially offering Reiki and Lomilomi and offering additional modalities as time progressed. In 2008, she opened her first 'Life Spirit Healing' practice location in the 'Oriental Healing Arts' building in Scotts Valley with Stephanie Di Pietro, Licensed Acupuncturist.

Adora's energy-medicine studies include Chi-Gong and Power Healing practice with Patricia Smith using Dr. Zhi Gang Sha's Power Healing methods in 2004 and 2005. She also has studied Chi-Aura Integration energy-medicine with Master Timothy Dunphy beginning in 2004, and received 'Chi-Aura Integration Practitioner' certification in 2008. Adora studied and began practicing Bio-Genesis ® Crystal Healing in 2004 and sometimes uses this remarkable crystal healing system in conjunction with Usui Reiki energy-medicine which she calls crystal Reiki healing.

In 2005, Adora studied Hypnotherapy with Rainya Marsha Cross, Director of the Institute of Transpersonal Studies in Santa Cruz receiving Hynotherapist certification. In 2006, she received Clinical Hynotherapist certification and ordination as a Universal Life Minister. She also served as assistant for the training in 2007 & 2008 .

Adora has studied Tantra since 2000. She has studied with such teachers as Margo Anand, Charles and Caroline Muir, and Bodhi Avinasha in Ipsalu Tantra Kriya Yoga. She has also coordinated Tantra Seminars in 2007 for Charles Muir and Leah Alhcin.

In 2006, Adora received sessions on the Photo Facial and Photon Therapy system – the world's most advanced Photon Therapy technology – with very positive results. In 2008, Adora received training in, and now offers sessions using, the Photo Facial and Photon Therapy system for her clients at her 'Life Spirit Healing’ practice in Scotts Valley.

In 2007, Adora was also trained in the use of the G5 ® Handheld Massage Therapy System which provides somatic therapies such as deep muscle relaxation, lymphatic detoxification, circulatory stimulation, edema and scar tissue reduction, exfoliation, cellulite reduction, and more.

In 2009 Adora trained in integrative massage and Polarity Therapy at Cypress Health Institute.

A student of yoga and meditation for many years, Adora participates in Vinyasa Yoga with Rainya Marsha Cross and Kriya Hatha Yoga and Meditation with Babaji's Kriya Yoga. Adora's other interests include movement practices such as Nia, swimming as well as sacred mantra (vocal toning) and singing practice.

Adora honors all religions, faiths and spiritual philosophies. She was initiated in the Ruhaniat order of Sufism in 1998 and again in 2007 and is currently training to be ordained as a minister within the Sufi tradition.
